Scientific Parasites are creatures in Adventure Time's Land of Ooo, who feed on clever brain waves. That's why they are usually found in the pockets of doctors and scientists. They come in many forms and colours and sometimes look like tiny animals.
When Finn is acting like a doctor, he has two science parasites inside his coat pocket. So either Finn is smarter than he appears to be, or the Scientific Parasites are not able to sense who gives off intelligent brain waves and simply assume that all doctors are smart!
